Dr. Kavus Abushov received his PhD in political science from the University of Muenster, Germany. He later completed his postdoc at the Center for International Studies at MIT. He has taught at the University of Muenster and held guest lectures at Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, MIT, University of Toulouse, GCSP. Dr Abushov received his BA in international relations at Baku State University and his MA in international relations at the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt, Germany.
His research interests include international relations theories and security studies, conflict resolution, and Russian foreign policy and post-soviet politics.
