Short biography:
Short biography: He graduated from Forest Faculty of Istanbul University in 1992. Dr. Erdogan Atmis works on 'Forest Policy and Administration'. His M.S. thesis was entitled 'Highland Tourism', his Ph.D. thesis was entitled 'Relationships between the Forests and the Society', both at Istanbul University. He is an professor at Forest Faculty of Bartin University. He published various papers on highland tourism, ecotourism, women in forestry, cooperatives, relations between forests and society, participation in forestr, sustainable forestry and international developments on forestry.'
