Description

Project objective and methodology

The project objective is to identify and assess issues related to forced labor particularly among local and foreign nationals in Yerevan, Ararat, Kotayk, Lori, Shirak and Syunik marzes. A methodology will be developed to capture the hidden challenges within the labour market in six marzes and identify potential cases of forced labour in the surveyed households. 300 households were selected and visited for a face to face interview with a structured questionnaire to measure the extent the forced labour is spread in the country.  A random walk method for the quantitative survey will be employed to conduct interviews within those who have employment experience in private sector for the last 2.5 years.
